Universidade Católica Timorense (UCT) welcomes aspiring medical students from across India and around the world to join our internationally recognized MBBS program. With a curriculum based on the Indian medical education system and fully taught in English, UCT provides a perfect blend of academic excellence, affordability, and global opportunity. Our admission process is simple, transparent, and based on merit.
The MBBS program at UCT is 5.5 years in duration — comprising 4.5 years of academic study followed by a 1-year mandatory internship. Indian students who qualify for NEET are eligible to apply and appear for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) after graduation. Our program also prepares students for international licensing exams such as USMLE (USA), PLAB (UK), and AMC (Australia).
To apply, students must submit their 10th and 12th standard mark sheets along with a valid NEET scorecard. UCT offers 100% tuition fee scholarships to 29 selected students — one from each Indian state — based on academic merit. With no donation or capitation fees, we believe that financial limitations should not hold back medical talent.
Our admissions team is available to guide students through the entire process — from application submission to visa support and travel arrangements. We provide orientation programs, pre-departure assistance, and ongoing student support to ensure a smooth transition to campus life in Timor-Leste.

Yes, for Indian students. NEET qualification is mandatory for eligibility to study MBBS abroad and for future registration in India.
Absolutely. International students with equivalent 12th-grade qualifications (Science background) are welcome.
Science stream with Biology. You must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in 12th grade.
